We are proud to introduce AIDP, our token designed to redefine interaction within the cryptocurrency ecosystem. We opted for the Proof of Work (PoW) mechanism for several strategic reasons.
The choice of PoW for Ai-DePIN is a careful considered decision.
This decision is based on our commitment to security, decentralization and network integrity. PoW, known for its robustness, allows AiDP to benefit from an immutable and attack-resistant infrastructure, ensuring unshakeable trust among our users.
Additionally, PoW encourages fair participation within our network, allowing everyone to contribute to the validation of transactions and the creation of new blocks.

When we decided to create AIDP, coin distribution had to be as optimal as possible, but defining it was truly challenging.
We could have copied the method, from Ravencoin, which we forked, with a reward reduction every 4 years, but this does not seem very useful today due to the potential lack of supply in the early stages of the project.
Another option was to attract as many miners as possible to our blockchain to secure it.
REWARDS
Progressive rewards
The more miners mine AIDP upfront, the more rewards they receive per block mined. During the first year, halvings take place every three months. For the next three years, a halving occurs each year, cutting the rewards in half. From years four to eight, a halving occurs every two years, resulting in a 50% decrease in rewards. Starting in year eight, a halving occurs every four years, also halving the rewards. For more details, please see the table here.
